Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect of the Guwei Jianpi Formula combined with nasal massage in the treatment of allergic rhinitis(AR)in children with lung-qi deficiency type.Method:A total of 70 children with AR admitted to Longyan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2022 to September 2023 were included in the study and randomly divided into the combined group(n=35)and the control group(n=35).The control group was given conventional Western medical treatment,while the combined group was treated with the Guwei Jianpi Formula and nasal massage on this basis.The therapeutic effects,adverse reactions,clinical symptom and sign scores before and after treatment,serum immunoglobulin E(IgE),and eosinophil(EOS)levels of the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of the combined group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the vital sign score,clinical symptoms,serum IgE and EOS levels in the combined group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Guwei Jianpi Formula and nasal massage in the treatment of AR children with lung-qi deficiency type can reduce the levels of serum IgE and EOS,improve clinical symptoms and signs,has a significant therapeutic effect,and is highly safe.关键词
