Abstract
Objective To investigate the application effect of Roy's adaptation model combined with health education based on risk management in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2(T2DM)undergoing insulin pump intensive therapy.Methods A total of 126 patients with T2DM who were diagnosed and treated at Yancheng Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from September 2022 to March 2024 were selected and divided into two groups using a random number table method,with 63 cases in each group.The control group received a routine nursing,while the observation group received the Roy's adaptation model combined with a method of health education based on risk management.The blood glucose levels,psychological resilience,self-perceived burden,satisfaction with insulin treatment,self-management behaviors,and the incidence of adverse events related to insulin pump use were compared between the two groups.Results After 2 and 4 weeks of intervention,the levels of glycosylated hemoglobin,2-hour postprandial blood glucose,and fasting blood glucose as well as the score of the Self-Perceived Burden Scale in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group,while the scores of the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale,the Insulin Treatment Satisfaction Questionnaire,and the Summary of Diabetes Self-Care Activities in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The overall incidence of adverse events related to insulin pump use in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of the Roy's adaptation model combined with health education based on risk management can effectively reduce the blood glucose level and the incidence of adverse events related to insulin pump use in patients with T2DM undergoing insulin pump intensive therapy,improve psychological resilience and insulin treatment satisfaction,reduce psychological burden,and improve their self-management behavior ability.关键词
