The Spirit of Educators Leading the Development of Higher Vocational"Double-qualified"Teacher Teams:Values,Challenges and Pathways

Abstract
Building high-quality and professional teaching staff is a key pillar of the national strategy for building a powerful education country.The exemplary practices of the National Huang Danian-style Teacher Teams vividly illustrate the contemporary significance of the spirit of educators.This spirit holds profound implications for advancing the development of higher vocational"double-qualified"teacher teams,primarily manifested in four dimensions:consolidating the foundation of fostering virtue through education,empowering teachers'professional growth,fulfilling the mission of education for public benefit,and serving the goal of national rejuvenation.However,the construction of double-qualified teacher teams in higher vocational education still faces practical challenges in terms of teacher competence structure,training systems,and institutional management mechanisms.Therefore,it is essential to vigorously advocate the spirit of educators to guide the development of"double-qualified"teacher teams in higher vocational colleges.This includes strengthening ideological grounding to cultivate the internal motivation of teachers'ideals and beliefs;advancing the cultivation of highly competent teachers in specialized fields and enhancing the supporting capacity of high-quality and professionalized teachers;reinforcing vocational education's distinct positioning to boost its driving role in national development;and innovating institutional support to strengthen the integrative power of whole-domain collaborative education.关键词
