Abstract
Currently,alveolar bone resorption is the most unpredictable type of periodontal defect in periodontal regeneration therapy.Periodontitis,as the main cause,is a severe inflammation of the oral gums,accompanied by gingival soft tissue atrophy,periodontal liga-ment damage,and alveolar bone resorption.The alveolar bone loss caused by periodontitis can be roughly divided into upper alveolar bone loss and internal alveolar bone loss.The management of periodontal tissue and bone destruction,as well as the restoration of func-tional and structural integrity,is difficult through traditional clinical treatment.In addition,limited resources in vascular distribution and underlying tissue are another obstacle to alveolar bone regeneration.This article will explore the characteristics,efficiency,regenerative capacity,treatment outcomes,and progress of periodontal-guided regenerative therapy of bone grafts and biomaterials,in order to promote the advancement of related research.关键词
