Abstract
Based on the engineering example of a revetment project for an immersed tube tunnel in Foshan City, this paper analyzes the mechanical characteristics of T-shaped support structures under different cross-section sizes and obtains the laws of deformation and stress distribution. The analysis shows that even for cross-sections with a large height-width ratio, when a 1D beam element with equivalent stiffness is used to simulate the 3D support structure, the deformation and stress are basically consistent with the simulation results using 3D elements. That is to say,the method of calculating cantilever support structures with beam elements is appropriate. However, for support structures with large cross-section sizes, after considering the self-weight effect of the structure, the distribution of tensile and compressive stresses in the cross-section changes significantly. The larger the cross-section size, the more obvious the reduction of tensile stress. For large-cross-section support structures,it is recommended to consider the self-weight effect of the structure, which can optimize the cross-section reinforcement and reduce the project cost. The research results of this paper can provide a reference for similar projects.关键词
