Abstract
At a municipal solid waste landfill,seepage was observed at the toe of the dam slope.Through geological surveys,geophysical exploration,and computational analysis,the main cause of the dam seepage was identified:blockage of the leachate drainage pipes prevented the discharge of leachate,resulting in a rise in the leachate level within the landfill area.The increased water pressure caused leachate to leak through locally damaged sections of the geomembrane.It then seeped through the highly permeable dam body and emerged near the toe of the slope,leading to seepage failure.The problem was resolved using a combination of grouting and dewatering wells,offering a reference for similar projects.关键词
