摘要

Abstract

CEL finite element method was used to investigate the adjacent slope stability during the process of pile boots penetration of jack-up drilling rigs,and special stress was laid on the influencing rule of different backfill plans on the displacement of pile boots.The results showed effectively control of the displacement of pile boots subject to a critical backfill depth.However,excessive backfill triggered a reverse slip effect due to the difference of density between the backfill material and in-situ soil.When the backfill density exceeded that of in-situ soil,the increased backfill depth reversed the slip direction and amplified the displacement pile boots.In engineering practice,the residual depth threshold value in the backfill layer should be optimized through the comparative analysis of the densities of backfill material and in-situ soil subject to effective backfill depth.The findings provided a theoretical basis for matching pile boots penetration parameters with the backfill strategies in similar projects.
