Analysis on pressure and opening process of metal compartment in dual pulse motor

Abstract
The metal compartment in the dual pulse motor has an important role in pressure bearing and thermal insulation dur-ing its operation.In order to improve the reliability of the metal diaphragm design in the compartment,the transient analysis and ex-plicit dynamic analysis methods were used to analyze the effects of pressure load on the positive pressure bearing of metal dia-phragms,as well as on the opening of metal diaphragms.The results show that the metal compartment satisfies the forward pressure bearing capacity when the dynamic pressure of the combustion chamber is 18.5 MPa,and the diaphragm opening pressure is 3.8 MPa under static internal pressure load,and the dynamic opening pressure of the diaphragm is 1.9 MPa under dynamic internal pressure load.The strain trend of the porous support under different pressures is the same as the simulation results,and the static opening pressure of the cold flow of the metal diaphragm is consistent with the simulation results,which verifies the applicability of the metal diaphragm compartment.关键词
