摘要

Abstract

[Objective]The differences in yield and quality of new self-bred and high-yield hybrid indica rice varieties were investigated to provide a reference basis for popularization and application of new rice varieties in Guizhou.[Method]The differences in yield,grain-filling characteristics,vascular bundle structure(number and cross-sectional area)and rice quality of Guang 8 You 35 and Taifengyou 79(two recently approved high-yield hybrid indica rice varieties),and Qianyou 35(CK)were analyzed under the same cultivation conditions.[Result]The yield of Taifengyou 79 and Guang 8 You 35 increased by 12.4%and 6.8%compared with Qianyou 35,respectively.The tiller number,ear-bearing tiller percentage and dry matter accumulation at heading stage of Taifengyou 79 and Guang 8 You 35 were significantly higher than CK.The great and small vascular bundle number,great and small vascular area,phloem area,and xylem area of Taifengyou 79 were significantly higher than CK.The ultimate growth,growth amount at maximum grain-filling rate,and maximum grain-filling rate of Taifengyou 79 and Guang 8 You 35 were lower than CK,but the active grain-filling period and linear grain-filling duration of Taifengyou 79 were longer than CK.The chalky grain percentage and chalkiness degree of Taifengyou 79 and Guang 8 You 35 were significantly lower than CK.The protein content,gel consistency,breakdown value and gelatinization temperature of Taifengyou 79 and Guang 8 You 35 were significantly higher than CK and the hot paste viscosity,final viscosity and breakdown value were significantly lower than CK.[Conclusion]Taifengyou 79 has the advantages of superior dry matter accumulation,larger vascular bundle area,longer active grain-filling period,higher yield and excellent rice quality,and Guang 8 You 35 has the advantages of stronger tillering capacity,low amylose content,high gel consistency and excellent cooking quality.
