高职院校英语类课程"讲好中国故事"教学路径研究
Research on the Teaching Path of"Telling Chinese Stories Well"in English Courses in Higher Vocational Colleges

Abstract
With the acceleration of globalization and the rising international status of China,telling China's stories well has become an important mission for higher vocational education in the new era.As a key medium for cross-cultural communication,English courses in higher vocational colleges bear the responsibility of equipping students with the ability to disseminate Chinese culture in English.However,current English teaching in these institutions still faces shortcomings in areas such as cultural exchange functions,textbook content,evaluation systems,and teaching methods,which hinder the effectiveness of"telling China's stories well."Based on the current state of English teaching in higher vocational colleges,this analysis first examines the necessity of"telling China's stories well,"including enhancing the global reach of Chinese civilization,fulfilling the fundamental task of"fostering virtue through education,"and improving students'competitiveness in the workplace.Subsequently,it explores the existing challenges in teaching and proposes corresponding improvement strategies.The aim is to provide theoretical and practical support for English courses in higher vocational colleges to better"tell China's stories,"thereby cultivating high-quality talents with cultural confidence and a global perspective.关键词
