Treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders Based on Chen Shiduo's"Nourishing Fire to Tonify Earth"Method
摘要
Abstract
Chen Shiduo,a famous physician of the Qing Dynasty,further developed the theory of the Water and Fire of Ming Men on ba-sis of the teachings of predecessors such as Zhang Jingyue and Zhao Xianke and was proficient in the clinical application of the theory of Yin and Yang as well as the theory of Five Elements.The pathogenesis of autism spectrum disorder is related to the insufficiency of the Fire of Ming Men for warmth and the inability of the Spleen and Stomach Earth to transform and transport.This leads to stagnation of fine essence forming Turbidity,which rises to the clear orifices,causing the core symptoms of the disease.The pathological changes may affect other organs,resulting in corresponding secondary symptoms.In treatment,the core principle should follow Chen Shiduo's ap-proach of"nourishing Fire to tonify Earth".Based on the physiological characteristics of children,a method of supplementing Fire in Water should be used-seeking Yang within Yin to restore the Fire of Ming Men,thereby assisting the Earth to transport,unblocking the stagnation of fine essence and clearing Turbidity.During the treatment process,attention should also be paid to harmonizing the function of other organs to restore the balance of Yin and Yang in the Five Zang of the child.关键词
