Variable Flow Control of Hydrostatic Testing Machine's Charging Pump based on Newton Iteration Method

Abstract
To solve the issue of significant no-load energy consumption in the motor of the charging pump during continuous operation of the hydrostatic testing machine for longitudinal submerged arc welded pipes,a variable flow control method is proposed based on the Newton iteration method.The mechanical equilibrium equation of the charging pump is derived and established by defining the corresponding equations for the functional parts of the charging pump.Setting indicators to quantitatively assess the operating parameters of the hydrostatic testing machine,combined with the target flow parameters,introduces the Newton iterative method to analyze parameter balance relationships.The charging pump's proportional pressure reducing valve opening control parameters are calculated to realize the variable flow control process.Through experimental validation,it has been found that this method has a good effect on variable flow control of the charging pump,achieving a hydraulic imbalance value closer to 1 and thereby improving the stability and service life of the charging pump.关键词
