摘要

Abstract

TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway is a classical transmembrane signaling pathway that can affect cell proliferation,differentiation,and apoptosis.To investigate the mechanism of the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway in the development of embryonic skin feather follicles in poultry,Jilin white geese were selected as the experimental animals.A combination of tissue staining,expression quantification,and localization analysis was employed to detect the expression of genes in the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway during the morphological development of hair follicles.The results showed that during the early stages of skin hair follicle development in goose embryos,the downstream transcription factor Smad3,downstream of the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway,was expressed in the entire skin tissue,including the epidermis and dermis,and Smad3 concentrated in the inner and outer root sheath of the feather follicle.Western blot results showed that the phosphorylated protein P-Smad3 was significantly more highly expressed in the later stages of embryonic development than in the earlier stages,indicating that the activity of the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway genes was higher in the last stages of embryonic development than in the earlier stages.When the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway activator was injected into the yolk sac of the embryo,it was found that the activation of the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway inhibited the development of feather follicles.In conclusion,TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway can affect the development of the feather follicles of the goose.
