摘要

Abstract

The experiment on the reciprocating wire electrical discharge machining(WEDM)of powder superalloy FGH96 was carried out to study the influence of process parameters such as pulse width,duty cycle and peak current over machining efficiency,surface roughness and recast layer thickness,and optimize a parameter combination of 8 μs in pulse width,10%in duty cycle and 12 in peak current level.On this basis,the change of working fluid conductivity was used to simulate the influence of working time of the working fluid.The experimental results show that the working fluid needs to be replaced when its conductivity is increased to about 5.27 mS/m.The machining experiments of fir-tree slot and the analysis on the machining accuracy and the recast layer thickness indicate that the recast layer thickness at the top tooth is less than that at tooth side and tooth root,which preliminarily verifies the applicability of reciprocating WEDM in rough machining of turbine slots.
