互联网使用对老年慢性病患者卫生服务利用的影响研究
Study on the impact of Internet use on health service utilization among older adults with chronic diseases
摘要
Abstract
In order to explore the impact of Internet use on the utilization of healthcare services for older adults with chronic diseases in China,this study used a fixed effects model analysis based on the data of China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study(CHARLS)from 2018 to 2020 on health-seeking behavior,and conducted a heterogeneity test through grouped regression.The results showed that Internet use significantly reduced the offline healthcare visit rate of older adults with chronic diseases,while the use of mobile payment had no significant effect.The significant impact of internet use on healthcare service utilization was found in the sub-groups of those who are married and medically insured.Self-rated health status and depression scores also have a significant impact on health service utilization.These findings suggest that Internet use may lower the offline health service demand among older adults with chronic diseases by expanding the access to health information.It is necessary to strengthen the age-friendly transformation of digital health services,enhance community health support for non-Internet users,and develop targeted intervention strategies based on characteristics of marital status to optimize digital health services.关键词
