葛根及其有效成分防治骨质疏松的研究进展
Research Progress of Puerariae Lobatae Radix and Its Effective Components in Prevention and Treatment of Osteoporosis
摘要
Abstract
With the advent of population aging in China and changes in dietary and lifestyle habits,the number of osteoporosis pa-tients continues to rise,showing a trend toward earlier onset.Osteoporosis has become the second most prevalent disease threatening human health,following cardiovascular diseases.Current treatments for osteoporosis mainly involve basic calcium supplementation combined with other medications.However,the efficacy and risks of anti-osteoporotic drugs remain unclear,posing significant clini-cal challenges.Puerariae Lobatae Radix,the dried root of Pueraria lobata in the Leguminosae family,has been valued for millennia in traditional Chinese medicine for alleviating muscle stiffness,reducing fever,and promoting meridian circulation and collateral ac-tivation.As a traditional pungent-cool exterior-resolving drug,it is mainly indicated for symptoms such as headaches with neck stiff-ness,feverishness,and excessive thirst.Historically,formulas for treating bone flaccidity have not incorporated Puerariae Lobatae Radix.In recent years,with further research on the chemical components of Puerariae Lobatae Radix in China and abroad,substan-tial progress has been made in elucidating the pathogenesis of osteoporosis and investigating the effects of Puerariae Lobatae Radix and its active constituents.关键词
