Abstract
Objective:To investigate the CT image characteristics of sternal tuberculosis and its application value in clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods:The imaging data of 20 patients with sternal tuberculosis in lingyun coun-ty People's Hospital from January 2021 to June 2024 were analyzed retrospectively.All patients were diagnosed by CT,and the application value of CT image characteristics in the diagnosis of sternal tuberculosis was summarized by analyzing its imaging data.Results:Among 20 cases of sternal tuberculosis,10 cases were involved in the sternal stalk,5 cases in the sternal stalk joint,7 cases in the sternal stalk joint,and 2 cases in the sternal stalk joint.Among them,there were 8 cases of mild bone destruction,7 cases of moderate bone destruction and 5 cases of severe bone destruction.Among them,10 cases were accompanied by dead bone formation,showing dense sandy or nodular ima-ging features;16 cases were accompanied by localized swelling of chest wall soft tissue,9 cases were observed sub-cutaneous abscess formation,2 cases appeared chest wall sinus;5 cases were complicated with pulmonary tuberculo-sis,3 cases with tuberculous pleurisy and 1 case with extrapulmonary tuberculosis.5 cases of parasternal lymph nodes enlarged,4 cases of internal mammary lymph nodes enlarged,5 cases of bilateral hilar lymph nodes enlarged,2 cases of unilateral hilar lymph nodes enlarged,6 cases of mediastinal lymph nodes enlarged,1 case of axillary lymph nodes enlarged and 2 cases of cervical lymph nodes enlarged.In 10 patients who received enhanced scanning,the imaging features showed that there was no obvious enhancement in the damaged sternum,and the swollen tissue showed slight enhancement.Patients with cold abscess showed multi-ring enhancement(5 cases),marginal ring enhancement(3 cases)and patchy enhancement(2 cases).Conclusion:CT images can obtain more comprehensive clinical data of patients with sternal tuberculosis,which is helpful to improve the accuracy of the diagnosis of the disease and provide strong support for clinical treatment.关键词
