Effects of commonly used pesticides on mycelial growth of Morchella species

Abstract
To avoid the damage of pesticides to the cultivation of Morchella sextelata,Morchella septimelata and Morchella importuna,this study evaluated the effects of nine commonly used pesticides(chlorpyrifos,pymetrozine,carbendazim,beta-cypermethrin,Bacillus thuringiensis,pyridaben,glyphosate·pyraflufen-ethyl,deltamethrin,and matrine)on the mycelial growth of three Morchella species.The aim was to explore the possibility of using pesticides in the disease and pest control of Morchella.Chlorpyrifos,Bacillus thuringiensis,pymetrozine,glyphosate·pyraflufen-ethyl and deltamethrin were recommended for pest control.They promoted or did not affect mycelial growth at low concentrations but inhibited the mycelial growth at high concentrations.Matrine,pyridaben and carbendazim severely inhibited the mycelial growth of Morchella and were not recommended for pest control.Beta-cypermethrin generally exhibited inhibitory effects,but the tolerance of the three Morchella species was different,which suggested a species-specific application of beta-cypermethrin.关键词
