Abstract

In order to explore the damage characteristics of Korla fragrant pear under impact loading,the macroscopic surface and microscopic structure of the damaged pear were observed and analyzed in this study,and the effects of different impact velocities,radii of curvature and hardness on pear damage were discussed.The mathematical model between the damage area of the fragrant pear and these variables was constructed using multiple linear regression.It was found that the appearance and internal structure of pear changed significantly after being impacted,which affected their damage resistance.Under the condition of low velocity impact,the damage area decreased with the increase of curvature radius.However,under the condition of high speed impact,the trend was opposite.In addition,the minimum impact velocity of fragrant pear was 2.42 m∕s,and the minimum impact velocity causing rupture was 5.05 m∕s.The study showed that the damage area was directly proportional to the impact velocity and inversely proportional to the fruit hardness.The established mathematical model(S=492.99V+28.27R+203.48Y-4 456.15)can effectively describe the relationship between the impact velocity,hardness,radius of curvature and damage area.The research results can provide a theoretical basis for the design and optimization of equipment for picking and post-harvest processing of fragrant pears.
