Effect of oxygen flux on combustion process and its determination index of Weihuliang coal in Xinjiang

Abstract
Oxygen flux is a key parameter affecting the process of coal spontaneous combustion,its reg-ulation mechanism and critical threshold remain unclear.In order to reveal the influence of oxygen flux on the oxidation reaction kinetics and combustion process of coal,the Xinjiang Weihuliang coal samples were selected as the research object,and a temperature-programmed experiment was used to simulate the coal spontaneous combustion process,and scientific and reasonable early-warning indicators and e-valuation models for coal spontaneous combustion was proposed.The experiments adjusted oxygen flow rates to examine the variation in oxygen consumption rate,heat release intensity and oxidation kinetic parameters under different oxygen fluxes(1.043~2.433 g/s).The concentration dynamic characteris-tics of gaseous products(CO2 and CO)were analyzed,two new indicators,the CO2/CO and(CCO2+CCO)/CCO20,were proposed to quantitatively evaluate coal oxidation degree and fire risks.The results show that the oxygen consumption rate and heat release intensity increase first and then decrease with the increase in oxygen flux.A critical oxygen flux of 1.119~1.802 g/s is identified,beyond which coal oxidation reactions are inhibited.The CO2/CO quantitatively represent the degree of coal oxida-tion,while(CCO2+CCO)/CCO20 exhibites a good piecewise linear relationship with coal temperature.This relationship allows rapid monitoring of fire zone temperatures and effective fire warnings.This research provides theoretical support and technical guidance for precise early warning and scientific prevention of coal mine fires,which lays a foundation for optimizing early warning indicators and fire prevention measures in the future.关键词
