摘要

Abstract

We conducted a multi-source validation experiment from 1 November to 5 December 2024,comparing four short-range wind lidars(detection range>300 m)against a 200-m anemometer tower in Jianghan Plain.Precipitation periods were identified using nearby station data.Evaluation covered:Data completeness,Accuracy(R2,ME,MAE),Error distribution.Key findings:(1)Unaffected periods showed high completeness up to 300 m.Precipitation degraded completeness to Grade A(<160 m),B(200 m),C(225 m),and D(300 m).(2)High correlations(R>0.98)persisted.(3)ME(-0.1-0.2 m/s,Grade A)and MAE(0.3-0.5 m/s,Grade B)varied little with height(except Lidar#3).(4)ME exhibited high-low-high trends with wind speed,while MAE followed U-shaped distributions(min 0.3 m/s at mid-range).(5)83.6%-89.8%errors fell within±0.8 m/s,with slight positive bias.Maximum errors reached-3.28-3.82 m/s,showing minor height dependence but widening extremes.Precipitation mainly impacted data completeness and detection height,not accuracy.
