摘要

Abstract

This study investigates the microclimate effects of artificial green spaces in the Taklamakan Desert through synchronous observations of land-atmosphere fluxes across three surfaces:shifting sands,windbreak forests,and a residential area.Key results show that,compared to shifting sands,the windbreak forests reduce mean wind speed by 80.5%,air temperature by 20.6%,and 0-cm soil temperature by 26.1%.During dust seasons,wind speed regulation is pronounced,but temperature modulation is limited during severe dust events.The forests also decrease sensible heat flux(18.7%),soil heat flux(75%),and albedo(0.08),while increasing 5-cm and 10-cm soil moisture(0.044 and 0.031 m3·m-3)and peak daily latent heat flux(70.3%).The central residential area,though less vegetated,exhibits intermediate wind speeds between sands and forests,with similar temperature/soil moisture to sands but marginally modified surface fluxes.These findings demonstrate that artificial green spaces significantly modify local microclimates,providing sustainable shelter in arid environments.
