基于CALIPSO的新疆上空平流层气溶胶时空分布特征研究
Spatiotemporal Characteristics of Stratospheric Aerosols over Xinjiang from CALIPSO Observations

Abstract
Using CALIPSO Level 3 stratospheric aerosol profiles(2007-2018),we investigate the spatiotemporal variations of stratospheric aerosols over Xinjiang,China.Key findings include:(1)Aerosol optical depth(AOD)is higher in spring(0.000 6)and summer(0.000 9)than in autumn(0.000 3)and winter(0.000 2),likely due to enhanced troposphere-stratosphere exchange and horizontal transport of pollutants by the Asian summer monsoon under the South Asian High.(2)The aerosol backscatter coefficient decreases with altitude,peaking in May(0.001 3×10-1 km-1·sr-1)and reaching minima in January/October/December(0.000 3×10-1 km-1·sr-1)in the 35°-50°N latitude band.(3)A northward-increasing gradient in backscatter is observed.The overall low stratospheric AOD over Xinjiang may reflect limited long-range transport of volcanic ash or other aerosols via atmospheric circulation.关键词
