甘薯CCD基因家族鉴定及其表达模式分析
Identification of CCD gene family and its expression pattern analysis in sweetpotato

Abstract
[Objective]The present paper aimed to systematically identify and analyze the carotenoid cleavage dioxygenase(CCD)gene fami-ly in sweetpotato(Ipomoea batatas L.),laying the foundation for further research into its mechanisms of action in carotenoid metabolism and the development of storage roots.[Method]The CCD gene family across of the whole genome of sweetpotato was identified by bioinformatics methods,and the structure and function of its members were analyzed.Based on transcriptome sequencing data,the expression patterns of CCD genes were analyzed in different tissues of mature sweetpotato,as well as their expression variations at different developmental stages of storage roots with white,purple and orange flesh colors.[Result]A total of 24 IbCCD genes(IbCCDs)distributed across 9 chromosomes were identified,classified into six subfamilies:CCD 1,CCD4,CCD7,CCD8,NCED and CCD-Like.Collinearity analysis indicated that seg-mental duplication and tandem duplication were key factors contributing to the amplification of IbCCDs.The promoter regions of IbCCDs con-tained 65 types of cis-acting elements related to growth and development,hormone response,light response and stress response.Transcrip-tome analysis revealed distinct expression patterns among IbCCDs.IbCCD1a may be a key gene for sweetpotato growth and development,ex-hibiting high expression across various tissues and developmental stages of storage roots with different flesh colors.Excluding genes that were consistently expressed at extremely low levels,13 IbCCDs were found differentially expressed in different tissues.IbCCD1b,IbCCD1c,IbC-CD1d,IbCCD4,IbNCED2 and IbNCED4 may regulate the types and contents of carotenoids in sweetpotato storage roots.The NCED-subfam-ily genes IbNCED1 and IbNCED3 may influence storage root expansion by regulating abscisic acid content in sweetpotato roots.[Conclusion]The study reveals the expression patterns of 24 IbCCDs in different tissues of sweetpotato and during the developmental of storage roots with varying flesh colors.It provides a reference for exploring the functions and regulatory mechanisms of the CCD gene family in sweetpotato and breeding new varieties with high carotenoid content.关键词
