Abstract

[Objective]To address issues in existing analysis methods for heated cigarette aerosols,such as complex pretreatment,low sensitivity,and low throughput.[Methods]By constructing a large volume thermal injection-in-column evaporation concentration system,the pretreatment and solvent evaporation conditions were optimized,and it was successfully applied to the analysis of gas-particle two-phase components in heated cigarette aerosols.[Results]The results showed:1)The method demonstrates high sensitivity and accuracy,with a total of 143 components identified;the method's precision is good,with the relative standard deviations of all 143 components being less than 10%,of which 107 are less than 5%;2)Through the combined use of a filter pad-adsorption tube for trapping and in-column evaporation concentration,simultaneous trapping and efficient concentration of the gas-particle two-phase of heated cigarette aerosols were achieved.This significantly lowered the limit of quantification compared to conventional GC-MS/MS methods,enhancing sensitivity,stability,and operational efficiency.3)Significant differences were observed in the aerosol components among different brands of heated cigarettes,while the differences within the same brand were minor.[Conclusion]This method is applicable to the analysis of gas-particle two-phase components in heated cigarette aerosols.
