Abstract
Objective To explore the blood pressure control effect and economy of amlodipine besylate in the treatment of elderly patients with essential hypertension.Methods A total of 117 patients with essential hypertension who were treated at Zaozhuang Mental Health Center from May to July 2023 were selected as the research subjects and divided into the control group(n=59)and the observation group(n=58)according to the random number table method.The control group was treated with nifedipine sustained-release tablets,while the observation group was treated with amlodipine besylate.The blood pressure control,treatment effective rate and cost-effectiveness of the two groups of patients were compared,and univariate sensitivity analysis was conducted.Results After treatment,the systolic and diastolic blood pressures in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The cost-effectiveness analysis results show that compared with the control group,the observation group has a lower composition cost and better effect,which is an absolutely advantageous economic solution.This suggests that the observation group's use of amlodipine besylate has more economic advantages.Univariate sensitivity analysis showed that the compliance rate of blood control and the cost of medication were the main factors affecting the incremental cost-effectiveness ratio(ICER).Conclusion The treatment of essential hypertension with amlodipine besylate can effectively lower the blood pressure level of patients,with good therapeutic effect,low cost and more economic advantages.关键词
