利用脉冲星周期跃变观测检验固态夸克星星震模型
Testing the starquake model of strangeon star via pulsar glitch observations
摘要
Abstract
Pulsar glitch is considered as a probe of the physics inside neutron stars.However,there are mainly two hypotheses regarding the origin of glitches:the superfluid vortex model and the starquake model.Using the latest glitches with measured recovery coefficients,the starquake model of strangeon star are tested.Based on the starquake model of strangeon star,we determine the parameter space in which the activity of pulsar glitches is consistent with the observations and previous results.The research reveals that the parameters calculated based on new observational data are highly consistent with those obtained by previous studies.The starquake model of strangeon star is further applied to a class of small glitches observed in the Crab and Vela pulsars.It shows that this model can effectively explain the amplitude of such extremely small glitches.As a result,the starquake model of strangeon star could self-consistently account for current observations of pulsar glitches.关键词
