Professor CUI Xia's Theory of"Regulating the Pivotal Mechanism"in Treating Pediatric Tic Disorders
摘要
Abstract
Professor CUI Xia posits that pediatric tic disorders predominantly result from dysfunction of the pivotal mechanism and dysregulation of qi movement,with impaired pivotal mechanism serving as the key pathological factor.For cases with Shaoyang pivotal mechanism obstruction where yang qi fails to ascend and disperse,treatment should prioritize regulating the Shaoyang pivot using modified Xiaochaihu Tang(小柴胡汤).When the Jueyin pivotal mechanism is impaired,characterized by recurrent and intermittent symptoms,the therapeutic approach should harmonize cold and heat while extinguishing wind and relieving convulsions,employing modified Wumei Wan(乌梅丸).For disorders of the spleen-stomach pivotal mechanism leading to dampness accumulation and phlegm-turbidity formation,treatment should combine liver-soothing and spleen-fortifying methods with simultaneous elimination and supplementation strategies,consistently incorporating spleen-strengthening and phlegm-resolving principles throughout therapy using modified Erchen Tang(二陈汤)combined with Sini San(四逆散).Three illustrative cases are appended for validation.关键词
