Development and Application of a Beidou Satellite-Ground Integrated Personnel Positioning System for Major Maintenance in Petrochemical Plants

Abstract
During the major maintenance period of petrochemical enterprises,the on-site contractor units have a large number of personnel,high mobility,and great difficulty in safety management.Traditional technol-ogies mostly adopt the positioning method of work pass location combined with auxiliary beacons,which is diffi-cult to adapt to the issues of large personnel concentration and dynamic fluctuations.On the basis of the existing Beidou personnel positioning system and ancillary facilities of the enterprise,an optimized method was devel-oped.This method combines continuous keep-alive via positioning apps,dynamic optimization of multi-signal data,and particle filtering combined with road network matching.A satellite-ground integrated positioning method that uses the personal mobile phones of operation personnel for positioning during the maintenance period of the equipment has been exploited.In the actual application of petrochemical enterprises,related systems such as access control and turnstiles have been connected,and an innovative personnel location control mode has been constructed.The results showed that the system has achieved continuous positioning of mobile phones ex-ceeding 6 hours and real-time online positioning of up to 2 660 contractor personnel.Meanwhile,the position trajectories in production areas such as the process unit area and tank area are more accurate and reasonable.Moreover,no other hardware facilities need to be invested in,forming a new positioning method that is low-cost and can dynamically adapt to the personnel fluctuation changes during major maintenance operations.关键词
