The Value Connotation,Logical Pathway,and Construction Pathways of Vocational Discipline

Abstract
The establishment of vocational education as a distinct type has inaugurated a new chapter in the development of modern vocational education in China.To advance modern vocational education,it is imperative to transcend the constraints of specialized training levels and elevate the focus to discipline-based cultivation of high-quality technical and skilled talents.Vocational discipline,as the systematic ag-gregation of occupational knowledge,serves as a prerequisite for talent cultivation,social services,and scientific research in vocational education.Its value lies in four dimensions:A cornerstone for integrated talent development,ensuring the unification of vocational training objectives;A key driver for effective in-tegration of vocational and general education;A lever for sustained industry-education collaboration;A safeguard for high-quality vocational education development.This discipline follows a logical pathway rooted in occupational roles as the starting point,occupational demands as the orientation,occupational knowledge as the foundation,and cultivating vocational talents as the ultimate goal.The construction of vocational disciplines,starting from occupational role orientations,requires a multidimensional approach that includes:Adhering to a human-centered orientation to cultivate high-quality skilled talents;Inno-vating curriculum and teaching methods to align with contemporary disciplinary knowledge demands;Opti-mizing textbook development to establish a coherent disciplinary knowledge framework;Building a "dual-qualified" faculty to provide robust support for knowledge;Expanding the discipline's "knowledge reser-voir" through scientific research.关键词
