An Exploration of the Use of Seminar in the Teaching of Sociology of Development

摘要

Abstract

The Seminar is a teaching method that emphasizes discussion-based and research-oriented learning,characterized by developmental,open-ended,and flexible features.In practice,it can compen-sate for the limitations of traditional lecture-based or demonstration-oriented approaches.Introducing the Seminar appropriately into the teaching reform of Developmental Sociology is both necessary and feasi-ble.The teaching activities have shown that the Seminar significantly enhance interactive teaching,priori-tize student-centered learning,comprehensively cultivate students' capabilities,and stimulate critical thinking.However,there are aspects that require reflection and refinement to optimize their implementa-tion.
