摘要

Abstract

The subtropical monsoon climate in Southern Fujian,China,creates a hot and humid environment with abundant rainfall,leading to frequent moisture damage in veranda-style cultural heritage buildings.Common external wall issues include damp patches,water erosion,plant infestation,and surface spalling,which have the features of frequent occurrence and repeated remediation.Taking Building No.69 on Fuxing Road of Kulangsu,a typical southern Fujian veranda-style building,as the research object,this paper first collected the on-site data of the external wall moisture damage distribution.By comparing the proportions and characteristics of damage areas on different facades,the spatial differentiation patterns of such damage were identified.Subsequently,the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)was used to classify damage severity,to rank factor weights,and to perform calculations,the moisture damage diagnostic data for each facade were quantified,and the degree of spatial differentiation was clarified.The results show that the moisture damage spatial distribution is strongly correlated with building surface decoration,sunlight exposure,wind direction,rain-affected area,and the surrounding environment.These factors provide important references for the repair and restoration of cultural heritage and hold significant value for the protection and restoration of the architectural heritage in southern Fujian.
