Abstract
The porcelain-housed surge arrester for 750 kV AC system has the problems such as heavy weight and weak pollution resistance.The author presents the performance parameters,structure and tes-ting of the polymer-housed surge arrester for 750 kV AC system in the context of the composite hollow insulator technology.During the development process,the key technologies such as the potential distribu-tion,insulation performance,sealing,pressure relief,mechanical and seismic performance were analyzed and verified.The developed arrester has been used for domestic and foreign projects.Analytical calcula-tions and tests show that the developed arrester meets all requirements for long-term operation;it can be used in areas with a 0.4g seismic and heavily polluted areas,and is also suitable for areas an altitude of 3 000 m.关键词
