摘要

Abstract

The cold sintering process,as a low-temperature and energy-saving advanced manufacturing technology,achieves high-efficiency densification and precise microstructure regulation of ZnO varistor ceramics through the pressure-solvent synergistic mechanism,significantly overcoming issues of grain coarsening,additive volatilization,and high energy consumption caused by traditional high-temperature sintering.The author systematically reviews the physicochemical mechanisms of the cold sintering process,reveals key pathways for optimizing the electrical properties of ZnO varistor ceramics via syner-gistic design of grain boundaries and defects,further explores the development potential of cold sintering in ZnO-polymer composite varistor ceramics,and summarizes challenges faced in its industrialization.
