摘要

Abstract

In response to the accident of porcelain insulators string dropping due to lightning strike in a 750 kV transmission line,the author studied the causes of the accident from two aspects:theoretical sim-ulation analysis and experimental verification.The electrical thermal mechanical coupling analysis of porcelain insulators under lightning current impact was carried out,and the temperature field and stress field distribution of porcelain insulators under lightning current impact were obtained.Electrical and me-chanical experiments were conducted for verification.The analysis results show that when the porcelain insulator string of the line is struck by lightning,the high heat generated inside the insulator causes ex-cessive thermal stress in the cement bonding body,resulting in debonding cracks and thermal damage to the insulator,leading to string dropping accidents.
