Abstract
With the increased demand of offshore wind power transmission through 220 kV AC submarine cable,the selection of submarine cable and reactive power configuration need to be implemented.Therefore,as the difference of current carrying capacity in different sections of the submarine cable,this paper proposed a effective method which can select the appropriate submarine cable,and can judge the dual-terminal compensation or single-terminal compensation,and also can give the capacity of reactive power compensation.Firstly,this paper establishes a mathematical model for the transmission system of offshore wind farm.Secondly,the type of submarine cable is selected based on the capacity of wind farm and the capacity of single wind turbine.The dual-terminal compensation or single-terminal compensation is determined by the current capacity of different sections of the submarine cable,and the capacity of high-voltage shunt reactor is calculated in offshore booster station,and then the capacity of high-voltage shunt reactor and dynamic reactive power compensation in land centralize control station is determined according to the charging power compensation coefficient.The power factor operation range of the wind turbine is obtained according to the above contents.Finally,by using PSD 2.8 software simulation,it is proved that the proposed method can select the appropriate submarine cable and reactive power configuration,and give full play to the submarine cable transport capacity.关键词
