Three-level Flexible Transfer Device Voltage Balancing and Common-mode Suppression Coordinated Strategy

Abstract
Aimed at the challenges such as a great number of space vectors,complex common-mode circulation paths and difficulty in DC voltage balancing,which are faced by non-isolated three-level back-to-back flexible power flow transfer devices,a novel method for DC voltage balancing and efficient suppression of common-mode leakage current through the modulation coordination of dual converters is proposed.First,the action characteristics of space vectors in three-level converters are analyzed to quantify their impact on common-mode voltage,so as to formulate an average com-mon-mode voltage suppression method based on the action time of redundant small vectors.Second,the causes of mid-point voltage imbalance on the system's rectification side are discussed,the influence of redundant small vectors on midpoint voltage is analyzed,and a midpoint voltage control method based on the action time of redundant small vectors is put forward accordingly.Furthermore,with the comprehensive consideration of the regulation of action time of small vectors by both the common-mode voltage suppression and midpoint voltage balancing,an optimization allocation is per-formed,thus forming a modulation coordination method for dual converters to achieve DC voltage balancing and high-performance suppression of common-mode leakage current.Finally,the results of comparative simulation experiments validate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method.关键词
