The Negative Impact of"Involution"Competition on the Development of New Quality Productive Forces and Its Countermeasures

Abstract
As the irrational competition of enterprises or individuals in order to compete for market share by offering products or services below the mar-ginal cost or even the cost,the"involution"competition has the distinct characteristics of over-dense competition subjects,homogenization of competi-tive products,fierce competition,passive competition participation and negative competition results.It has obvious negative effects on the improvement of the comprehensive quality of workers,the innovation and development of labor materials,and the optimization and upgrading of labor objects,and has become an important problem restricting the development and progress of new productive forces.From the perspective of its occurrence mechanism,"involution"competition will continue to be induced by factors such as the imbalance between supply and demand structure,high exit barriers,and imperfect market mechanisms,causing enterprises to fall into the"prisoner's dilemma"of"low price-reduced quality-low price".As a result,it fails to focus on technological innovation and improving product qualityand hinders the development of new quality productive forces.In order to com-prehensively rectify the"involution"competition and promote the development of new quality productive forces,we must focus on its causes,and ex-pand the consumer market,strengthenthe patient capital,strengthen scientific and technological innovation,and improve the market mechanism.In the process ofeliminating"involution",we will continuously improve total factor productivity,prevent the decline of corporate innovation momentum and the stagnation of technological iteration,promote the deep transformation and upgrading of the industryto develop new quality productive forces.关键词
