摘要

Abstract

[Objective]The structure,function and expression patterns of auxin response factor(ARF)in the floral organs of Phoebe bournei were investigated at different developmental stages,to provide insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying the regula-tion of floral organ development.[Method]Bioinformatics methods were utilized to identify and analyze the ARF gene family at ge-nome-wide level,and then transcriptome data were integrated to examine the expression patterns of these genes in floral organs at different developmental stages.[Result]A total of 24 PbARFs were identified and classified into 3 distinct subfamilies by phylogenet-ic analysis.Analyses on the intron-exon structure and conserved motifs not only showed their high conservativeness in evolution but also supported the classification of PbARF subfamilies.Overal,the PbARFs exhibited different expression patterns in various tissues,and the high expressions of PbARF1/2/3/14/15/16/18 in the tepals,pistils and stamens indicated their positive regulatory roles in the maturation of P.bournei floral organs,specifically with the high expression of PbARF18 in the stamens.[Conclusion]The PbARF gene family played significant roles in the development and maturation of P.bournei flowers,especially PbARF1/2/3/14/15/16/18,which were likely to exert positive regulatory function in the flower development and pollination process.
