摘要

Abstract

Nanozymes are a class of nanomaterials with enzyme-like properties.Due to their controllable high catalytic activity,high stability,low cost,and easy storage,they have flourished as substitutes for natural enzymes over the past decade.With the rapid advancements of nanoscience and nanotechnology,nanozymes are expected to directly replace traditional enzymes by mimicking and modifying the active centers of natural enzymes.To date,hundreds of nanomaterials have been found to mimic the catalytic activity of various enzymes,such as peroxidase,oxidase,glucose oxi-dase,catalase,glutathione peroxidase,and superoxide dismutase.Due to their unique physico-chemical properties,nanozymes exhibit broad application prospects in biomedical fields.In this re-view,we summarize the definition,classification,and properties of nanozymes,as well as their latest research and applications in biomedicine.We also discuss their mechanisms of action and spe-cific applications in biosensing,bioimaging,and biotherapy,and provide an outlook on future challenges.
