摘要

Abstract

To address the conflict between professional knowledge depth and English proficiency cultivation in bilingual teaching for environmental engineering majors,under the background of New Engineering Disciplines development and engineering education accreditation,this paper constructs and applies a progressive bilingual teaching model in the Soil Pollution Prevention and Control(Bilingual)course.This model,centered on the soil pollution control knowledge system and bilingual competency goals,utilizes a modular design dividing content into basic theories,pollution mechanisms,and remediation technologies.It follows a"four key dimensions"progressive path for textbook selection,teaching languages election,teaching content setting and performance evaluation.The teaching gradually transitions from all-Chinese instruction to mixed-mode,then to all-English seminars,integrating case-guided learning,interactive discussions,and hierarchical evaluation.This approach aims to balance professional knowledge acquisition with English language enhancement,thereby improving students'international competitiveness and offering a practical reference for internationalizing engineering education.
