Full scale test and numerical analysis study on the flexural behavior of UHPC double-T partition slab in utility tunnel

Abstract
Ultra-high performance concrete(UHPC)is widely used in underground engineering with high structural performance requirements due to its outstanding mechanical properties and superior durability.Based on the Guangzhou Smart City Utility Tunnel Project,this study applied UHPC—a high-strength and lightweight material—to the design of compartment slabs to address the challenge of limited internal space in utility tunnels.Full-scale bending tests were conducted on double-T UHPC compartment slabs(referred to as double-T slab),and their mechanical performance was systematically analyzed using numerical simulations.Through bending tests,the failure modes and crack propagation characteristics of double-T UHPC compartment slabs under various loading conditions were investigated.Using the ABAQUS,the influence of key structural parameters—including slab thickness,rib beam height,and rib spacing—on the flexural performance was further examined.The research findings provide guidelines for prefabricated UHPC slabs in utility tunnels and validate current code applicability for such components.关键词
