Research Advances in Genetic Diversity and Mating Systems of Manglietia
摘要
Abstract
The genus Manglietia(family Magnoliaceae)is an endemic tree species in mountainous areas of southern China.It has the value of ecological,ornamental and genetic resources.However,due to habitat frag-mentation,small population size and reproductive barriers,most species are endangered.In recent years,with the development of molecular markers,reproductive biology and phylogeny technology,researchers have great progress in the evaluation of genetic diversity,determination of mating system,analysis of self-incompatibility mechanism and development of gene resources in Manglietia.In this article,the current level of genetic di-versity,mating system characteristics and endangered mechanisms of Manglietia are systematically re-viewed,and different research methods and main research results are summarized.On this basis,the phyloge-netic and taxonomic significance of Manglietia is discussed.By combining the current research gaps and tech-nological trends,this article proposes countermeasures and suggestions such as strengthening in-situ protec-tion,carrying out artificial breeding,establishing long-term monitoring mechanisms,and promoting eco-ge-nomic research,with the aim of providing theoretical support and practical basis for the protection and sus-tainable use of Manglietia and other endangered plants.关键词
