Diversity and Floristic Characteristics of Key Protected Wild Plants in Guangxi
摘要
Abstract
Guangxi is a key area for biodiversity conservation in China,and its key protected wild plant re-sources have important ecological and strategic value.Based on the revised List of Key Protected Wild Plants in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region(2023),combined with a variety of literature and data-bases,the latest list of key protected wild plant species in Guangxi was sorted out,and their species composi-tion,floristic characteristics,geographical distribution and endangered status were analyzed,and correspond-ing protection countermeasures were put forward in this study.The results showed that:(1)There were 479 species of key protected wild plants in Guangxi,belonging to 37 families and 173 genera,of which angio-sperms accounted for the absolute advantage(31 families,163 genera and 468 species,accounting for 97.70％of the total species).At the family level,Orchidaceae(386 species)was the largest family.At the genus lev-el,Liparis(32 species),Bulbophyllum(28 species)and Calanthe(24 species)were the dominant genera.The life form was dominated by herbs(407 species,accounting for 84.97％).(2)The floristic elements of seed plants were dominated by tropical distribution types at the genus level,with both tropical and transition-al characteristics.(3)There are 108 species endemic to China,of which 28 species are endemic to Guangxi,and 17 species are not endemic to China but only produced in Guangxi in China.The total number of these two categories was 45.(4)The three municipal administrative units with the largest number of key protected wild plants in Guangxi were Baise(282 species),Hechi(162 species)and Chongzuo(154 species).(5)45.51％of the species(218 species)were at threatened level(critically endangered,endangered and vulnera-ble).The key protected wild plant resources in Guangxi have the characteristics of large number of species,high proportion of endemic species and high degree of endangerment.It is of great significance to protect them for maintaining biodiversity.To this end,it is necessary to strengthen special investigations,severely punish illegal excavation and sale,and strengthen the protection and research of critically endangered species and endemic species,so as to achieve accurate and sustainable protection of this valuable resource.关键词
