Abstract

Dendrobium scoriarum is a national second-class protected wild plant with important medicinal and ornamental value.The optimum experimental conditions for rooting of keikis of D.scoriarum were studied,which could provide technical support for the protection and cultivation of this species.In this study,a four-factor,three-level L9(34)orthogonal test was used to evaluate the rooting effect of the keikis rooting rate,mean rooting number and mean root length,and the keikis rooting effect index was constructed to explore the effects of hormone type,hormone concentration,cutting substrate and cutting position on the rooting of keikis of D.scoriarum cuttings.The results show that the type of hormone has the greatest influence on the rooting effect index of keikis,followed by the cutting substrate,and the hormone concentration has the least influence.The effects of hormone types and cutting substrates on the rooting rate of keikis reached a signifi-cant level(P<0.05).When the concentration of indoleacetic acid(IAA)is 300 mg/L,the substrate for cut-ting is Sphagnum sp.,and the cutting part is the upper part,the rooting effect of keikis of D.scoriarum cut-ting is the best,the rooting rate can reach 59.8%.
