Abstract

In order to provide a reference for the introduction,cultivation and breeding of high-quality seedlings of endangered plant Sauvagesia rhodoleuca,one-year-old cutting seedlings of S.rhodoleuca was selected as the research object,the quality grading standards of S.rhodoleuca seedlings were discussed by principal com-ponent analysis and K-means clustering analysis,photosynthetic characteristics of S.rhodoleuca were meas-ured by Li-6800 portable photosynthesis analyzer,and the photosynthetic characteristics of different grades of seedlings were compared.The results showed that:(1)Seedling quality grading criteria were as follows.The plant height of the first-grade seedlings was≥34.00 cm,the crown width was≥363.67 mm,the stem diame-ter at ground level was≥4.11 cm.The plant height of the second-grade seedlings was 27.11-<34.00 cm;the crown width was 175.78-<363.67 mm;the stem diameter at ground level was 3.59-<4.11 cm.(2)The diurnal variation of net photosynthetic rate(Pn)of S.rhodoleuca showed that the peak values of net photosynthetic rate under different light conditions were different.(3)In the parameters of photosynthesis-light response curve,there was no significant difference in dark respiration rate(Rd),maximum net photo-synthetic rate(P max),Light Compensation Point(LCP)and Apparent Quantum Yield(AQY)among the first-grade seedlings,the second-grade seedlings and the third-grade seedlings(P>0.05),and the Light Satu-ration Point(LSP)of the first-grade seedlings and the third-grade seedlings showed significant difference(P<0.05).The results of this study provide a scientific basis for the introduction and cultivation of S.rh-odoleuca and the breeding of high-quality seedlings,and reveal the variation of photosynthesis.
