Abstract

In order to reveal dynamic change of linalool content in leaves of Cinnamomum officinarum'Guizhang 1',leaves of'Guizhang 1'were taken as research objects and growth rhythms were observed.Leaves of different leaf ages and months were collected and linalool was extracted by supercritical CO2 extraction method.Linalool contents in leaves of different leaf ages and months were analyzed by gas chromatography.Results showed that linalool contents in leaves of different leaf ages showed significant differences.From leaves at 15 to 65 days,linalool content showed decline-rise-decline trend,reaching maximum at 55 days.There were four times sprouting in one year,with increasing of sprouting time,sprout length showed decreasing trend.New branches grew faster in spring and summer.As time increasing,linalool content in leaves in first sprouting increased first and then decreased,which was de-creased gradually in second sprouting.Linalool contents of leaves in twice sprouting both reached the highest values in June,which were 20.28 and 19.70 μL/g respectively.Linalool contents of leaves in third and fourth sprouting decreased first and then increased with the highest values in January of the following year.When harvesting'Guizhang 1'leaves,mature leaves with complete leathery after 45 days of leaf expansion should be selected with stable linalool content.Linalool content of leaves was the highest in June,which were suitable for harvesting.
