Abstract

The 23 experimental materials of Yunrui17 type in the zoning breeding evaluation nursery were carefully selected based on their comprehensive characteristics to enter the crop comparison nursery,and the content of sugar,fiber and reducing sugar as well as the cane stem yield of theses sugarcane materials were measured.Additionally,a comprehensive quality evaluation model was established by combining of grey correlation analysis and Dynamic Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution(DTOPSIS),and the comprehensive evaluation Ci values were calculated.This study aimed to screen out test materials with excellent comprehensive trait performance.The results illustrated as follow:Firstly,among the coefficient of variation(CV)of each trait,the variation degree of sugarcane sugar was the smallest,indicating limited genetic differences and improvement potential.Among the sugar yield components(cane yield and sucrose content),the contribution of cane yield to sugar yield was greater than that of sucrose content,which suggested that there was more room for improving cane yield than sucrose content.Secondly,grey correlation analysis demonstrated that cane yield had the highest degree of influence on sugar content with a correlation coefficient of 0.8961,whereas reducing sugar content had relatively little impact on sugar yield with a correlation coefficient of 0.6860.Thirdly,according to the DTOPSIS-based comprehensive evaluation using Ci values,the Ci values of YR17-503(Xintaitang25×Neijiang97128),YR17-549(Dezhe9388×Dezhe0978)and YR17-541(CP84-1198×Xintaitang25)exceeded that of the two controls,which indicate that the three materials have favorable overall properties.In summary,by integrating gray correlation degree analysis with the DTOPSIS method,three materials exhibiting excellent comprehensive characteristics have been identified.These materials can be further propagated on a large scale via rapid propagation technology to facilitate subsequent testing stages.This approach aims to provide a scientific foundation and reference for the regional breeding test screening of Yunrui17 type.
