广西合浦县甘蔗新品种引种适应性研究
Study on the Adaptability of Introducing New Sugarcane Varieties in Hepu County of Guangxi

Abstract
This study aims to screen new high-yield and high-sugar sugarcane varieties suitable for cultivation in Hepu County,thereby promoting the high-quality development of the local sugar industry.In 2024,five new sugarcane varieties including Guiliu1541,Guitang64,Guitang76,Yuetang15880,and Zhuangtang6 were introduced and evaluated in a field trial,with Yuetang00236 serving as the control.A comparative study was conducted on the agronomic traits,yield performance,stress resistance,and pest incidence of the tested varieties,to identify varieties that outperformed or performed comparably to the control and recommend them as promising candidate varieties for the Hepu sugarcane-growing region.The results indicated that Zhuangtang6,Guitang76,and Guitang64 exhibited superior performance.These varieties demonstrated high sucrose content and yield,along with excellent comprehensive traits.The stalks were relatively thick,with moderate to strong lodging resistance,and they were classified as early-to-mid maturing varieties.Zhuangtang6 recorded the highest average sucrose content at 16.88%.Guitang64 achieved the highest yield of 120.06 t/hm2,with the lowest pest infestation rate.Guitang76 showed a relatively high sucrose content of 16.15%and excellent leaf-shedding characteristics.Overall,Guitang76,Zhuangtang6,and Guitang64 demonstrate strong potential for commercial promotion.These varieties are recommended for continued regional trials and subsequent large-scale extension in the Hepu sugarcane cultivation area.关键词
