Abstract
Items important to safety is a commonly used terminology in the codes and standards of the nuclear power field.However,its conceptual definition remains relatively ambiguous in practical application,and a unified consensus has yet to be established within the sector.This paper studies the issues concerning the ter-minology definition and scope criteria of items important to safety in nuclear power plants(NPPs)based on the investigation and research of relevant literatures from the International Atomic Energy Agency(IAEA)and the United States.It analyzes its requirements and methodologies by these organizations or countries,and conducts discussions and research on related issues.关键词
